nut-free kale pesto
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 cup chopped basil
- 1/2 cup chopped kale
- 2 tbsp . olive oil
- 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 sunflower seeds
- pinch of salt
- Blend all ingredients in a blender and mix well.
Place all the ingredients into a blender
Place the lid on securely and begin to blend for a minute or two, until mixture is blended well. Check to make sure the mixture is moist enough, you can add additional olive oil if needed.
This recipe is great for a pesto pizza! Especially if you have picky eaters, they won’t be able to tell that there is kale in the pesto.
