- 3 cups oatmeal
- 1 1/2 cups all- purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl combine flour, oats, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon, set aside.
In a small bowl place whole milk, vanilla and eggs whisk gently and set aside.
In a mixer combine butter and sugar on low speed. Alternate adding the flour mixture with the milk mixture until combined. Place batter in lined baking pan and place into the pre-heated oven. Bake for about 30-35 minutes checking periodically. When a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean you can remove from oven.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
These will last about a week in an airtight container.
You will need 1 9″ x 12″ baking pan, lined with parchment paper or lightly greased. The parchment paper will help you lift the finished bar out easier without sticking.
