Cilantro Lime Hummus
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cups of cooked chick peas
- 2 tbsp . olive oil
- 1/8 cup of fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 tsp salt
- splash of water
Place all ingredients into a blender and mix well. Add additional salt or lime to taste, and additional olive oil until it reaches a smooth consistency. Top with Pico de Gallo for an extra flavor kick.

Tip for preparing chick peas:
Fresh is always best! Soak raw chick peas overnight in water, as directed on packaging label.
Boil pre-soaked chick peas in pot until they are tender. It may take up to an hour depending on temperature.
