  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Let butter, milk, and eggs sit out to being to room temperature. Once butter the is soft, place it in a standing mixer with the paddle attachment and add sugars, blend until light and fluffy. Add pumpkin, vanilla, and eggs one at a time until well incorporated.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, corn starch, and cocoa powder and whisk well. Alternating dry ingredients and milk add to mixer and blend well. Set waffle maker to selected temperature, ( I used a medium heat setting), and spray with non-stick cooking spray. This is optional, you can also use cooking oil or follow user manual instructions for equipment.
Pour batter into waffle maker and close, let cook for a few minutes or until machine beeps. Gently remove when ready. Serve with desired toppings.

Notes

Set butter, eggs and milk out to bring to room temperature before you start.
